There are various actors and actresses and musicians that retell the stories from the Bible's New testament. Intoductions are done by Max Lucado and his daughter Jenna. These cds would be good for teens especially or anyone that maybe is not into reading but still wants to hear more about the Bible. With the length of the cds listening to them on road trips or while you're cleaning would work out well. For people that are unable to read this would make a great gift. What a better gift then giving someone the Word of God. I hope you enjoy these cds as well.

The Moom Shines Down By Margaret Wise Brown

I just finished reading the book The Moon Shines Down by Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by Linda Bleck. It is a very colorful book with detailed pictures that children of any age would enjoy. The book pictures a little Koala bear talking about the moon. I like how the book brings in different countries, continents and cultures. I read it to my four year old son and he enjoyed it. The koala bear is wanting God to bless the moon and God to bless him to. I like how the author brought in God a lot into this book through the koala bear wanting God's blessing upon himself and others. The book showed detailed descriptions about each country or continent or culture it was talking about making it a very interesting read. There are plenty of pictures including animals in them as well. Children like repetiton and this book has a neat way of repetiton but also in bringing some new things into each new page you turn to. It will leave you or your children wondering which country, continent or culture the next page will be talking about. I recommend this book to anyone with young children or grandchildren.

Tim McGraw's My Little Girl

I just finished reading the new book by Tim McGraw and Tom Douglas called Tim McGraw's My Little Girl. Having a daughter myself this book was most enjoyable. The daughter, Katie, in the book is excited to spend a day with just her and her daddy. She is anticipating what the day holds for them and how she should dress herself. After talking to her daddy Katie thinks they're just going to have an ordinary day instead of a spectacular one but boy was she wrong. Throughout the day Katie and her daddy did different things together and went different places together, like the co-op to see animals, swinging on a tire swing together and eating lunch together while spelling out words with their alphabet soup. Katie had just as much fun with her daddy doing so called ordinary things than if she would've went to a ball with him. The best part of Katie's day was just being with her daddy. I really like this book because it shows the importance of Daddy daughter time and how much daughters look up to their daddys. I also like how the book shows that you don't have to do something expensive or far fetched. Just being together is enough. At the end of the day Katie is just happy to have spent the day with her daddy and like all girls I believe they sometimes just need time with their daddys. Someone to show them love unconditionally and to let them know how very special they are. I recommend this book to everyone especially to daddys and their daughters.
